24 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10cm in char t pattern, blocked.

Notes

The shawl shown contains 44 chart repeats, plus 1 stitch to balance the pattern, and 3 border stitches at each side.

For a larger or smaller shawl, cast on more or fewer stitches in multiples of 19. Every 19 stitches added or removed will make the piece about 3¼” wider or narrower along its lower edge. Plan on purchasing extra yarn if making a larger shawl.
